Wii Get Fit Into Shape

We just recently got the new Wii fit. We got it on Thursday and I have only done it a few time, but it is AMAZING how my muscles burn after doing only a few minutes of it.
The cool aspect of this game is the features it offers. The equipment it comes with measures your BMI, (body mass index) and tells you how much you should weigh, and how much you need to lose in order to meet that weight.
It is an ingenious idea and we will let everybody know what the results are.

The Joy of Cleaning (or lack there of)

When I think of cleaning and taking care of my home I have this beautiful 1950's image in my head that I am going to be completely efficient and morph into this woman cleaning her house wearing a designer dress and a string of pearls. That is as far from the truth as ever!
Let's face it, I not the Suzie homemaker that I should be. In fact when I do clean it is because my wonderful husband has given a settle hint (never nagging) about the house being in disrepair.
Although, many of us married (without kids) women have a brilliant excuse, that we work just as hard as our husbands, and then have to come home to our primary job. But... It is just that, an excuse. I am more writing this for myself then to anyone else.
We as that call ourselves godly women need to have the mindset that we are helpers to our husbands, and need to take the chaos of work and completely separate that from home. That is where we come in. "Wives submit to your husband, as fitting for those who belong to the Lord." Col. 3:18 So, it is not only for the love of our husbands that we keep a home fitted for a king, but it is ultimately for our king.
Like I said, I am mainly posting this as a reminder for myself to keep up on the responsibilities at home, and to keep in my mind that this is bigger than me.
Okay, time to get off my pedistal and do laundry!

Dreaming of the Beach

What a Beautifeul day! Although it is really warm out, I am currently sitting in a cold office and wishing I were at the beach. Before work today, Jon and I went to panera bread to get a dozen beagels for our co-workers. While we were there, a mom was ordering lunches for herself and her two kids. I thought that was odd considering it was 8:30am, but I realized they all had their swimsuits on under their clothes. I can only assume they were going to the beach, and picking up an delicius, and easy lunch before they went to enjoy this beautiful day. Lets just say I am really jealous and dreaming of the beach.

I'm Back!

Well, it has been a while since I have last blogged, and I am itching to get back. Let me update on whats been going on in the lee family.

February: Our fist nephew was born on the 27th. Noah Michael William Lee. And we are cogently pursuing a house to buy.

March: Jon's birthday was on the 3rd, we went to dinner and had a great time. We are still looking for a house. We put an offer on one and were shot down. But.... It wont keep us down. I also got a job at Starbucks.

April: My birthday was on the 15th, we went to dinner and again, had a wonderful time. We put and offer on the same house (the first buyer fell out of escrow), and again we we had no luck. but continue to press forward.

May: a few months before we look at a house that we LOVED, but was out of our price range. We decided to make a risky move and offer a much lower price on the house. It had been on the market and sat empty since October. The worst they could say was no. We really prayed and asked the Lord to show us if this house was for us. He did! they accepted the offer and was went into escrow. Jon and I were absolutely thrilled about the fact that we were going to be owning a house.

June: We closed escrow the beging of June and we got our keys Sunday June 1st. It was OUR HOUSE! I am still in shock and so thankful for all of those who have helped and supported us.

So it is evedent why I have not kept up on my posting.

As soon as I am done decorating I will post a tour.
